What Is An Egg?

Hens usually live ten to fifteen years in nature.  In the egg industry, hens usually live a year to a year and a half before their bodies give out.

An egg is actually the hen’s menstrual cycle.  If the baby boy chickens were not killed at birth or soon after, and the egg was fertilized it would become a baby chicken.

Humans are eating the menstruation of another species, which I personally think is gross.  Additionally, eggs are loaded with cholesterol which has been linked to heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers.
